This is an independent guide to the Acropolis of Athens and the Acropolis Museum. We built it to put what you need in one place: opening hours, how to get there and practical tips for the visit.

We are not the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, which looks after the sites, and this is not the official website. We do not run the Acropolis or the Museum and we do not use their logos or images. The names of the sites are used only to describe them.

The tickets and visits featured here are sold by a partner company, a third party. Opening hours and rules come from the bodies that manage the sites, and we note when we last checked them. If you spot a mistake, write to us and we will fix it.
